The best place to view the fireworks is out on the lake, but be careful and
remember you must stay 1000 feet from shore. Captain Paul Bourque, of the
fire department, will be out in a patrol boat helping to keep everyone at a
safe distance.

The beach at Long Beach will be closed to all bathers as soon as the
fireworks truck arrives. Also no boats can go in or out of the marina after
5:00 p.m., by state law, due to the danger of a fireworks explosion. No
cars will allowed into the marina after 5:00 p.m. and no one will be allowed
within 500 feet of where the display is being setup. Fire department members
will  be at the marina to assist you in viewing the fireworks display and to
control access to only safe areas.
