The annual fall Town Meeting, along with the BIT Annual Fall Meeting and the FII Annual Fall Shareholders Meetings, will be held on Saturday, October 6 in the Community Center, starting at 9:00 a.m. Registration will begin at 8:00 A.M.(PLEASE NOTE NEW SIGN-IN TIME).
Copies of the Town Warrant are available on-line, at fryeisland.com. Paper copies are posted in the Administration Building, at the Community Center, at the Golf Course Lounge and on the Administration Bulletin Board.
Copies of the proposed budget are available on-line, and at the Administration Office.

FRYE ISLAND'S "FIELD OF DREAMS" IS ALMOST A REALITY. COME ON UP AND SEE THE FIRST SIGNS OF GRASS. 250 ISLANDERS AND VENDERS HAVE DONATED ENOUGH MONEY TO GET US WHERE WE ARE. AN ISLANDER IS OFFERING A CHALLENGE -- IF WE CAN RAISE $8,000 BY COLUMBUS DAY, THEY WILL GIVE US $4,000. WE NOW HAVE $6,000 ALREADY TOWARD IT AND NEED $2,000 MORE. (WE RAISED AN ADDITIONAL $1,000 LAST WEEK) IF WE CAN DO THIS WE WILL BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT. REMEMBER THIS FIELD IS FOR ALL OF US TO ENJOY WITH OUR FAMILIES. SO PLEASE HELP US .

SOLID WASTE UPDATE
Due to the early low water levels, we have had to pull the demolition, metal, cardboard and recycling containers from the brush dump. WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCEPT THESE ITEMS FOR DISPOSAL. As of this point, the brush dump is only open for household rubbish and brush..
Household rubbish can be brought in at any time as always. However, we will no longer loan the key to the brush dump, so brush will have to be brought only on Saturdays and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., when the gate will be open and the facility will be manned.
We apologize for the inconvenience this action will cause, but due to low water levels, we have been left with no choice.
