Please have curbside trash securely bagged and in a container for Public Health reasons.  Trash crew will not pick up torn or broken bags.  Do not put out your trash  too early.  If you are leaving the island before scheduled pickup, please deposit your trash in the containers provided at the brush dump.  Help to keep  your island home healthy and beautiful.  Residents are also reminded to keep vehicles and  trailers out of narrow roads and circles where the rubbish truck is to pass through.  Narrowing the road or circles in this manner
creates a safety hazard for both residents and trash crew.  The rubbish truck will NOT negotiate these spaces.  Please co-operate and help to keep things safe by not blocking narrow roads and circles.REMEMBER:  Curbside pickup is for
bagged household trash only.

NOTE:  Residents using the wooden or Rubbermaid curbside boxes to put their bagged trash in, are reminded to put out some kind of marker or flag to indicate that there is trash in the box to be picked up.

RAYMOND FOOD PANTRY--As you leave the island after vacationtime or for the season and are wondering what to do with so much "stuff" , please  consider
donating your
non-perishables (food items, paper goods, etc) to the Raymond Food Pantry.  ( It's a long and hungry winter for some)     There is a barrel in the Town Office for this collection, and we will see that your contribution reaches the needy.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARING AND YOUR GENEROSITY.
