WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS WHO HAVE SO GRACIOUSLY WORKED WITH US IN THE TOWN OFFICE THROUGHOUT THE PAST SEASON. YOU HAVE BEEN GREAT. THANK YOU AGAIN,
THE OFFICE STAFF
DON'T FORGET
RAYMOND FOOD PANTRY--As you leave the island after vacationtime or for the season and are wondering what to do with so much "stuff" , please consider donating your non-perishables (food items, paper goods, etc) to the Raymond Food Pantry. ( It's a long and hungry winter for some) There is a barrel in the Town Office for this collection, and we will see that your contribution reaches the needy. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARING AND YOUR GENEROSITY.
SOLID WASTE UPDATE
Due to the early low water levels, we have had to pull the demolition, metal, cardboard and recycling containers from the brush dump. WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCEPT THESE ITEMS FOR DISPOSAL. As of this point, the brush dump is only open for household rubbish and brush..
Household rubbish can be brought in at any time as always. However, we will no longer loan the key to the brush dump, so brush will have to be brought only on Saturdays and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., when the gate will be open and the facility will be manned.
We apologize for the inconvenience this action will cause, but due to low water levels, we have been left with no choice.
END OF SEASON RUBBISH PICK-up
