This is a public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan to be voted upon by the Town at the July 6, 2002 Town Meeting.
The reviews by the Maine State Planning Office, and by the Council of Governments in Portland were favorable. Some changes were made, in the document, as a result of the reviews.
The document, the changes, and the reviews are available at the Town Office.

Cookbooks will be on sale Saturday June 8th outside the Post Office between 10:00 and 12:00 A.M. and again from 2:00 and 4:00 P.M. They will also be available for purchase from the Pro Shop at the golf course any time that the club is opened. The price of the Frye Island Cookbook is $ 10.00 ea. PLEASE NOTE: A portion of the proceeds from the sale of EACH book will go to the FRYE ISLAND FIRE DEPT.
