Congratulations Nick Tedford!

On Saturday June 22, four Frye Islanders played in a Charity golf tournament at the Point Sebago Golf Course. The FI team was made up of Ed Charette, Greg Tedford, Nick Tedford and Joe Potts. The team was playing fairly good golf for a scramble event. At the end of 17 holes they were 7 under par. Their last hole was a par four, 299 yard in length with the last 30 yards before the green made up of tall marsh grass. While three of the team members had OK drives, Nick Tedford's drive ended up on the green only 15 feet from the hole. That was a 299 yard drive with outstanding accuracy!!! Nick made the putt, giving the team an eagle. That eagle pushed the team final score to 9 under par which was enough to put the team in third place for low gross score. Congratulations Nick.
