PLAYGROUND NEWS

     Last Saturday's ribbon-cutting ceremony was both well-attended and fun,  The new
Playground was dedicated to "All the Children of Frye Island, - Past and Present and
Future".  Thanks were given to all the volunteers who made it possible!!!!

P.S.  Special thanks to Phil Sullivan for building the childrens sandbox for the playground.

               MARINA NEWS

     On June 29th, a Yacht Club Membership meeting was held at the Community Center, to
elect a 9-member marina committee.  The results are as follows:

*Alan Klevan recused himself, therefore Ken Dolloff will serve this 1-Year term. As he was next in line for this position.

A "working" meeting  of the newly elected marina committee is scheduled for July 8th, at 8 A.M., at the Community Center.

It is recommended that all Yacht Club Members review the rules and regulations of the 1996 Yacht Club Policy Handbook, which is available on the Frye Island Web Page, or you may view a copy at the Town Office.  Special attention should be paid to the section on rental slips and related policies.
