    Public Hearing--2003 Town Budget

The public hearing on the proposed Town of
Frye Island  2003 Annual Budget will be
Held at the Community Center on Saturday
September 7th at 9:30 AM.  A copy of the
Proposed Town Budget will be placed on the
Frye Island website the evening of Saturday
August 31st.

                                 Meeting  Notice
       Board of Selectmen--Executive Session

On Wednesday, 9/4/02 the Board of Selectmen
Candidate Review Committee will meet at
8 AM at the Community Center to continue the
review process for the position of Town Manager.  This meeting will be held in Executive Session,
meaning that it is not open to the public

Public Hearing--Parking Ordinance

The second public hearing on the proposed Parking Ordinance will be held at the next regular Board of Selectmen meeting scheduled for Saturday,
September 21st at 9 AM in the Community Center.  Feedback received at the 8/24 public hearing will be incorporated in the revised draft ordinance.

    NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS
IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON HAVING YOUR SEPTIC TANK PUMPED, OR HAVE THE NEED OF ANY
LARGE TRUCKS, IT WOULD BE MOST FEASIBLE TO HAVE IT DONE WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE THE WATER LEVEL DROPS AND THE LARGE TRUCKS ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED ON THE FERRY.  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION, FEEL FREE TO CALL THE TOWN OFFICE OR THE FERRY TRAILER.
