Frye Island GC Hole #9 Layout and Yardage:
This is a tough hole. It is up hill from the Gold and Silver tees. A good drive will get you to the knee of a strong dog leg to the right. There are two difficult sand traps protecting the green. Since the landing area for good drives is hidden from view from the tee, a bell is on the right side of the fairway to indicate to the following foursome that you have cleared the landing area. The Red tee is half way up the hill, making it much easier to reach the dog leg. Photo from the Silver Tee
