The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by John Nun
SELECTMEN: John Nun, Brian Walker, Grace Morin
BIT EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: Bruce Nisula, Joe Potts,

All present participated via telephone conference.
PUBLIC HEARING - LIQUOR LICENSE FOR
LEISURE LOUNGE
Robert and Jean
Russo applied for two 2007 Liquor Licenses for Frye’s Leap General Store (beer
and wine not for consumption on the premises) and Café (all, for consumption on
the premises).
There were no
inquiries of opposition for issuing the Liquor License for Frye’s Leap General
Store and Café.
MOTION to approve
application for Liquor Licenses for Frye’s Leap General Store and Café made by
John Nun and seconded by Grace Morin – UNANIMOUS.
The Golf Course applied for a 2007 Liquor License for
Leisure Lounge.
There were no further inquiries of opposition for
issuing the Liquor License for Leisure Lounge.
MOTION to approve application for a Liquor License for
Leisure Lounge made by John Nun and seconded by Brian Walker – UNANIMOUS.
OTHER BUSINESS
Wayne reported that weather at the island had been
miserable, wet, trees were down, road repairs had been attempted but snow up to
15 inches deep was still on some of the roads and covering most of the water
lines, lake water level was up to 266 feet MSL.
The water tank had been flushed but not the lines because most of the
shutoffs were still under snow.
Kimbro hopes to have the new apron at the island ferry landing completed by
Wednesday, 25 April.
