Office Closing:  The final day the office will be open on the Island this year is Thursday, November 1.

Island Close:  Another reminder that the last ferry is at 9:00 PM on Monday, November 5 this year.

November Election:  Another reminder that voting by Frye Island registered voters in the upcoming State of Maine General and Referendum Election will occur in the ferry trailer on Tuesday, November 6 from 10 AM – 8 PM.  Absentee Ballots are available in the Town Office.

Tax Bills:  The office will be mailing out tax bills by the end of October.  If you’ve moved, please make sure we have your correct address.  Remember that only one tax bill is sent, with the first payment due December 31, 2018, and the second due June 30, 2019.  Also, once again, please make sure your lot number is noted on your tax payment check.

Code Enforcement:  John Thompson’s last day for this year will also be Thursday, November 1.

Transfer Station:  The Transfer Station will be open on the low season weekend schedule and Monday November 5, from 8:30 – 4:30.  As of now, we expect bulk waste containers to be available until Island close on November 5, but be alert for updates.
